Here's some of the steps I went through to create the hummingbird & fuschia wall hanging!!!!
1. Wet-felt a bold, colorful background in the colors you want. Let this completely dry
2. Decide upon your composition - placement, colors, textures
3. I wet felted more small pieces to cut up and add to my piece. A green one for leaves, and a magenta one for the fuschias and hummingbirds.
4. Needle felt any details. I needle felted the some of the fuschia petals right onto the background, but everything else is cut-outs that are then needle felted on.
